Stealth Jihad, Anyone?

By CHERYL GATESWORTH

May 3, 2018 - San Francisco - CA - PipeLineNews.org - Recently the Washington, D. C. chapter of the Muslim Public Affairs Council [MPAC] reprinted an article from Patheos, an online magazine which presents faith based articles. The article was titled: Trump's Administration, Not Muslims, Is Vulnerable to Terrorist Narratives . The piece faithfully parrots the air-brushed version of Islam which is the specialty of MPAC. Some background, particularly regarding the pedigree of the author, is in order before we proceed to an analysis of the article.

The piece was written by Zaki Barzinji who is the grandson of the late Muslim Brotherhood terror friendly, Jamal Barzinji [see end notes]. The former led the youth division of the Islamic Society of North America [ISNA], labeled as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas fundraising trial [ US v Holy Land Foundation for Development ]. Indeed the Muslim Brotherhood mentions ISNA in its captured internal documents as one of "our organizations and the organizations of our friends.” Barzinji also headed ISNA's youth division, the Muslim Youth of North America [MYNA] and held several positions in Virginia under Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe. In a static society, the norm in Islam even when Muslims reside in the United States, family ties are significant - Zaki is the thread that runs through numerous Muslim Brotherhood front groups and sews them into one cloth. This site wrote an informative piece on the younger Barzinji on March 28, 2017 [see, Islamic Pressure Group MPAC Hires Former Youth Leader of Muslim Brotherhood Linked ISNA ] shortly after MPAC President, Salam Al Marayati gushingly announced the former's appointment to that organization's staff.

Now under the heading of the apple not falling far from the tree, grandfather Jamal Barzinji was a founder or in many cases a senior official in virtually every significant Muslim Brotherhood group. He was involved deeply in the International Institute of Islamic Thought [IIIT], and when the government raided IIIT's office, they simultaneously raided Jamal Barzinji's home and the offices of other groups he was affiliated with. Former President Barack Obama dropped an indictment against Jamal Barzinji and thus saved him from prosecution. Simultaneously President Obama prevented the American people from learning more details of Jamal Barzinji's terrorist adventures, details which would have been revealed during a the trial.

The Muslim Public Affairs Council was formed in 1986 as part of the Islamic Center of Southern California [ICSC]. It was god-fathered by the late Dr. Maher Hathout who fled his native Egypt after having been imprisoned for revolutionary activity spearheaded by the Muslim Brotherhood. MPAC presented itself - and does to this day - as a Muslim civil rights organization and, always, with its sanitized version of Islam, seeks to be a bridge between the Muslim and non-Muslim community. MPAC “engages” local, state, and federal officials and the media and in addition to developing personal relationships with people of influence, MPAC claims to be the go - to source for information when Muslims are in the news. MPAC has developed a Hollywood Bureau and has a screening room to view motion pictures pre-release, lest the final product not adhere sufficiently to Islam's version of peace and brotherhood. Perhaps the greatest success of MPAC and its fellow travelling Muslim organizations is its ability to successfully play the victim card to an open and welcoming American public and a gullible media

Returning to the Patheos posting, the author cites a preliminary report [actually a working document] from the Department of Homeland Security [DHS], produced on January 22, 2018 and requested by the U. S. Custom and Border Protection Agency [CBP]. The report was obtained by Foreign Policy magazine, a progressive/collectivist periodical and a member of the Green/Red alliance [the “unholy alliance” between jihadists and the left]. Mr. Barzinji relies on the synopsized reporting of Foreign Policy magazine, which in itself should make the reader question the article's objectivity.

He calls this draft report 'disturbing' because it seems to call for continuous surveillance of Muslims based on select and unreliable data. The report covers the time period from October 2001 through December 2017. The report addresses, among other issues, immigrant vetting, visitor screening, and ongoing evaluation of individuals deemed to be of high risk. While the DHS report expressed only moderate confidence in its assessments, its data bases seem to be relevant and usually reliable. The report expressed ignorance of the perpetrators path to radicalism, a situation easily cured by a reading of Islam's foundational documents.

Mr. Barzinji claims that the true danger from terrorism arises not from Muslims, either home grown or foreign, but from “radical right white supremacist” groups. To justify this claim the author points to the large number of Muslims killed in terrorist attacks. .This certainly has been true throughout history, since more Muslims have been killed by their fellow Muslims than by non-Muslims . A recent illustration is the eight year war between Iraq and Iran during which half a million Muslims managed to kill each other. Islam has always been scrupulous about ideological purity as well as being indifferent to legal protocol, and it is a classic example of orthodoxy hating heresy more than it hates non belief.

As we have seen there is enough hatred remaining for the infidels of all other beliefs.

Few people outside of Islam are familiar with the Arabic word “takfir." It means apostasy, and, when it is shouted by a Muslim, it accuses and effectively excommunicates the target Muslim, giving to the accuser the right to kill him without fear of punishment. Therefore it nullifies the Qur’anic injunction that Muslims may not kill other Muslims. The simple accusation positions the victim as no longer a Muslim and, according to the Qur’an, eminently killable. As one illustration Ahmadi Muslims are and have long been the victims of Sunni and Shiite Muslims. In Pakistan, to cite a specific example, the government in its constitution has declared them not to be Muslim persons. In any majority Muslim country that does not bode well for them.

And, of course Muslims are often victims of secondary intent during the conduct of Muslim warfare. Indeed these collateral victims are compensated for their inconvenience by becoming direct inductees into Paradise.

Another false claim is that more Americans have been killed by the ever present white supremacists than by Muslims. The author, I assume, began collecting statistics on September 12, 2001, permitting himself to ignore the carnage on 9/11 during which more than 3000 of us infidels were killed in acts of Muslim terrorism. Allowing 9/11 to enter the discussion certainly destroys the author's batting average. Also conveniently ignored is the potential carnage that would have occurred as a result of continuous Muslim-conceived terrorist plots which were foiled by American law enforcement

The author also puts forth the claim that the actions of ISIS are a perversion of Islam and that its adherents have in effect hijacked Islam. Literally, the reverse is true. A careful reading of the Qur’an, an examination of the conduct of Islam throughout history, and of the present behavior of Islam as it invades Western Europe would expose this falsehood.

The reader will notice a number of references to Altmuslim on the splash page, though Altmuslim is never mentioned in the body of the article. On its web site Altmusim presents itself as a 'liberal' Muslim group whose members do not share the classic Islamic view on gender relations and relations between Muslims and non Muslims. These parroted claims are also made by MPAC as it practices stealth jihad.

MPAC and other Muslim Brotherhood front groups glory in playing the victim card and claim that Islamophobia is rampant. These groups make the patently false claim that hate crimes against Muslims surpass those against any other groups and that Islamophobia is rampant. This is patently untrue - the victim card will not stand under scrutiny. According to the FBI's Unified Crime Report for the year 2016 in America anti-Semitic hate crimes were far more prevalent than similar crimes committed against Muslims.

The success of MPAC is a testament to the embracing and decent, albeit often naive, nature of the American public and its reluctance to see through the facade of outlier ideologies. MPAC seeks perpetual victimhood for Muslims. These wolves in sheep's clothing seek to convince the public that they are the third part of an American triumvirate of Christians, Jews and Muslims when they truly represent America's greatest threat.

End Notes:

Barzinji’s terror ties - “Barzinji served on the initial board of trustees of the Virginia-based SAAR Foundation, Inc. in 1983. Federal investigators have alleged that the SAAR Foundation is a network of 100 nonprofit and for-profit organizations that “are interrelated through corporate officers and holding companies - subsidiary relationships, to facilitate the funding of terrorist operations.” Barzinji held leadership positions in a number of SAAR organizations, among them posts as director and vice president for research and publications of IIIT, director of Safa Trust, president and chairman of Mar-Jac Poultry, and member of the Board of Trustees of Amana Mutual Funds Trust. Records obtained from a closed FBI investigation through a Freedom of Information Act request show th at IIIT board members Jamal Barzinji and Yaqub Mirza are listed among “members and leaders of the IKHWAN.” Barzinji was identified as the secretary general for the Islamic Society of North America [ISNA] at that time.34 The Ikhwan is an Arabic reference to the Muslim Brotherhood.” [source, The Investigative Project on Terrorism, Jamal Barzinji ]
