November 13, 2017 - Philadelphia, PA - Five years ago the Muslim Student Association on the Drexel University [Philadelphia, PA] campus published a deeply disturbing document, the DMSA Handbook , that shares much in common with the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategic plan to subvert the United States and Western Civilization through cultural/civilizational jihad, a non-kinetic method of pushing the society closer to Shari’a compliance – [source, Mohamed Akram, An Explanatory Memorandum: On the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America , a seminal piece of evidence - Gov’t exhibit, 3-85 - presented in the US DOJ’s successful prosecution of the domestic HAMAS funding entity, the Holy Land Foundation for Development]
“Muslim students are an integral part of the student body at Drexel University. As they make their journey on their quest of knowledge and self-betterment, Drexel MSA aims [at] being a force of community and Islamic education on campus helping… Drexel MSA has been committed to fostering unity and brotherhood within Drexel’s Muslim community, through conducting social, cultural, religious, and other activities in the best interest of Islam. The Drexel MSA grew in membership and also welcomed the renowned Imam Siraj Wahaj during its Islam Awareness Week this year . To serve the best interest of Islam and of the Muslims on campus and surrounding Philadelphia community. To portray and promote unity and joint action amongst the Muslims on campus...To conduct social, cultural, religious, and other activities in the best interest of Islam...“
The aforementioned Siraj Wahaj is a weaponized imam named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the acts of terrorism surrounding the first bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993, hardly the type of individual to inspire confidence in Drexel MSA’s moderation:
“The Imam of At-Taqwa is Siraj Wahhaj, who appeared on a list of unindicted coconspirators in the trial of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Wahhaj provided testimony during the trial to defend the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel-Rahman, the former leader of the Egyptian terrorist organization, Gama'a al-Islamiyya. Rahman was found guilty of ‘conspiracy to murder President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, ‘solicitation to attack a military installation,’ and of bombing conspiracy related to a plot to bomb the New York FBI headquarters along with tunnels and other landmarks. During Wahhaj's testimony, he called the Sheik a "respected scholar," also calling him "bold, as a strong preacher of Islam." [Investigative Project, Masjid At-Taqwa ]
Rahman was convicted and sentenced to life, he subsequently died in prison.
Actually it shouldn’t be at all surprising to see the similarity in plans between the Muslim Brotherhood and Muslim Students Association, since the Muslim Brotherhood created the MSA.
“…The Muslim Student’s Association [MSA] of the United States and Canada was incorporated in January 1963, when members of the Muslim Brotherhood came together at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with the goal of “spreading Islam as students in North America…MSA has played a key role in the Brotherhood led Islamic Movement in North America since the 1960s, when the organization as established as on the primary conduits for the proselytizing ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood of North America…MSA promotes the Islamist ideology inspired by the Muslim Brotherhood, seeing itself as part of the global Islamic movement...The Ikhwan [Arabic for Brotherhood] can be credited with forming several of the Islamic organizations in America. MSA, formed in 1963. has often been a collaborative effort of Ikhwan members from Egypt, Iraq, Syria and the Sudan..." Background, quotes from the Muslim Brother’s Explanatory Memorandum
“The process of settlement is a ‘Civilization-Jihadist Process’ with all the word means. The Ikhwan [Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers…
…the Movement must plan and struggle to obtain “the keys” and the tools of this process in carry out [sic] this grand mission as a ‘Civilization Jihadist’ responsibility.”
“…Enablement of Islam in North America, meaning: establishing an effective and a stable Islamic Movement led by the Muslim Brotherhood which adopts Muslims’ causes domestically and globally, and which works to expand the observant Muslim base, aims at unifying and directing Muslims’ efforts, presents Islam as a civilization alternative, and supports the global Islamic State wherever it is.”
The document ends with the Muslim Brotherhood declaring, “A list of our organizations and the organization of our friends. Imagine if they all march according to one plan!!!”
The roster includes, the Islamic Society of North America [ISNA], the Muslim Students’ Association [MSA], the Islamic Association for Palestine in North America [IAP - the progenitor of CAIR] and the Islamic Circle of North America [ICNA].
In an allied case:
“Federal District Court Judge Jorge Solis in a 2009 decision stated: "The government has produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR , ISNA, NAIT, with NAIT, the Islamic Association for Palestine, and with Hamas ." [source, Federal Judge Agrees: CAIR Tied to Hamas , Investigative Project on Terrorism]
The similarity between the plans should be obvious.
Whereas the Muslim Brotherhood’s “Explanatory Memorandum..“ uses unvarnished references to civilizational jihad, Drexel’s MSA pursues the same goal using, “measured sounding, non-confrontational” language.
Both programs are designed to, within their charters, “Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Who so fights in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward“ [source, Qur’an 4:74]
In the current atmosphere MSA conducts its jihad in a non-kinetic manner, but one must realize that the approach the Muslim organizations take is totally dictated by conditions on the ground, primarily demographic, stealth jihad being seen as both legal and effective when Muslims are in the minority, or have not yet assumed a “critical mass.”
