Is Berkeley Burning?

February 2, 2017 - San Francisco, CA - - Last night the campus of U.C. Berkeley erupted in a particularly nasty and fiery spasm of violence over the prospect of allowing one of Breitbart’s more colorful journos, Milo Yiannopoulos, to engage in the now apparently subversive act of free speech.

Ironically U.C. Berkeley was, in the distant past [the 1960s], responsible for creating the “Free Speech Movement” on American college campuses, a fact which was apparently lost on last evening’s rioters, most of whom were regaled in a matter befitting the terrorist Muslim butchers with whom they share much in common ideologically.

The resultant news coverage was as we have come to expect, Orwellian.

Unsurprisingly CNN seems to have set the tone, with the diminutive cable network stating that people like Yiannopoulos “are spreading hateful rhetoric” while trying to draw the odious comparison between Milo and “white supremacists” [of which there were at last count 23 left within the continental United States] thus effectively blaming the street violence on innocent purveyors of words and ideas. [see, Milo Yiannopoulos is trying to convince colleges that hate speech is cool, written by some idiot by the name of Dan Lieberman]

Having closely followed Yiannopoulos’ Dangerous Faggot Tour [DFT] this last summer one can see a marked change in the dynamic which was common then as opposed to what is happening now, which is directly attributable to the fact that the left lost big on November 8.

Whereas the DFG appearances were framed by an almost a campy sense of over-the-top [gay as queen] playfulness, that is until Yiannopoulos used the various forums to intellectually destroy leftist totems, last night was different…the pros had taken over.

By pros let’s be clear, we are talking about paid violent Marxist/progressive and anarchist revolutionaries, the same people which Bush allowed to destroy his presidency and cause the loss of two wars in the Middle East.

To those outside the confines of California’s Bay Area Berkeley might appear to be your typical university town, except with a little more edge. Actually nothing could be further from the truth - it’s a vile, intolerant and dirty little shit hole of a city - as was in evidence last night where it would have taken a fully geared up Army brigade to even approach the level of force which would have been required to reasonably assure the safety of someone as psychically dangerous as Yiannopoulos making a personal address anywhere near campus.
