Romanian Hacker "Guccifer" Extradited in Hillary Email Scandal

April 8, 2016 – San Francisco, CA – PipeLineNews.org – This is a republish of a piece we filed a little over a year ago regarding a Romanian hacker, who went by the screen name of "Guccifer" who cracked Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's non-secured amateur email system.

Guccifer has recently been extradited to the United States and faces multiple charges and one must assume that the DOJ probe of Clinton's email bears directly on this move.

Further on in the piece we draw the reader's attention to partial email messages which Guccifer was able to grab from the Clinton server which demonstrated Hillary's use of long-time Clinton hatchet man, Sid Blumenthal as an advisior, after the Department of State expressly denied permission for the then Secretary of State to bring him into the department. Also note that Blumenthal seems to be providing private intel regarding the Benghazi attack and other Middle East hot spots including Algeria.

The entire matter is beyond inappropriate and since "Guccifer" is now in federal custody and apparently cooperating with LE we thought it significant enough a development to justify re-running the article in full. The hacker has no formal computer training...self-taught yet to this relatively unskilled web criminal, Hillary's most confidential official correspondence was an open book. If "the Gucc" was able to so easily breach Clinton's cheesy system imagine the degree of access which Russian and ChiCom military hackers could have had.

Additionally we suggest that those interested in this and related matters keep an eye out for DOJ to attempt to pretend that this breach was the extent of the penetration, a notion which is absurd but may fly in today's sycophantic MSM as they circle the wagons around not only Obama, but Mrs. Clinton.

Trust us on this one, if Clinton's security was this faulty, every significant technologically advanced opponent of the U.S. has accessed everything which was available.

There’s a growing sense of outrage regarding ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s refusal to use official channels for communicating with members of Team Obama during her tenure. The din is now so overwhelming that Mrs. Clinton held a “press conference” two days ago to pretend she’s into full disclosure; that it was held at the UN where media credentials are almost impossible to get on short notice, thus excluding much of the WH press, was by design.

The legacy media termed the presser a “disaster,” with a haggard looking Mrs. Clinton reading from a prepared script proclaiming that “we decided” which pieces of communication were personal and which were related to her official business as Secretary of State. Additionally, she insolently refused to hand over “her” server[s] to Congress, or anyone for review.

Why it took years for Congressional investigators to determine that Hillary had opted out of the State Department’s email system is troubling. The fact that it was the New York Times which broke the story says volumes about this ineffectual Congress.

As the NYT points out, this is a serious matter:

“…Under federal law, however, letters and emails written and received by federal officials, such as the secretary of state, are considered government records and are supposed to be retained so that congressional committees, historians and members of the news media can find them…” [Michael S. Schmidt, Hillary Clinton Used Personal Email Account at State Dept., Possibly Breaking Rules , NYT]

The questions since raised about this matter skirt the issue which should be the lead focus. That Clinton intentionally avoided using the State Department’s email network is now established fact but the central question remains: what Hillary’s unusual method of official electronic communication means.

Since the government’s communication network is in every way technologically superior to Hillary’s “cutout” system – except of course for the matter of leaving no official record – this had to be a premeditated plan to shield Clinton from incriminating evidence when things finally blew up, as they always do with this bunch.

Withholding evidence is a serious charge, but trumping that is the issue of data security and definitively determining whether the Clinton network was compromised. Since even supposed highly secured networks are routinely hacked, it’s difficult not to imagine that Hillary’s basement communication system was breached - probably repeatedly - and most likely without the knowledge of the system’s operators. For example, Sid Blumenthal, a very close advisor to Mrs. Clinton recently had his email hacked, a security breath which outed some sensitive intelligence findings.

The only way to ascertain to what degree this did or did not happen would be to review Hillary’s email server logs which will prove difficult absent possession of Clinton’s Rube Goldberg hardware.

Complicating matters is the fact that apparently Mrs. Clinton’s trusted – never vetted – aide, Huma Abedin, used this same system.

Abedin is a more than controversial figure. Her background and family history make it appear that – had a complete FBI background investigation taken place – she would, by definition have been ineligible to obtain a security clearance.

The ties between Abedin and the Muslim Brotherhood have been documented in numerous periodicals. Perhaps most revelatory was the June 12, 2012 official letter of inquiry written by five us Congressmen, Michele Bachmann, Louie Gohmert, Trent Franks, Thomas Rooney, Lynn Westmoreland to the State Department’s Deputy Inspector General, Ambassador Harold W. Geisel, which read in part:

“For example, according to The Muslim Brotherhood in America: The Enemy Within, a product of the Center for Security Policy…the Department’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin “has three family members — her late father, her mother and her brother — connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations.. Her position affords her routine access to the Secretary and to policy-making…”

The below video is the introduction to the Center for Security Policy’s Muslim Brotherhood course:

As former US Prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy presents the matter:

“The letter averred that Abedin “has three family members - her late father, her mother and her brother - connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations.” It turns out, however, that Abedin herself is directly connected to Abdullah Omar Naseef, a major Muslim Brotherhood figure involved in the financing of al-Qaeda. Abedin worked for a number of years at the Institute for Muslim Minority Affairs as assistant editor of its journal. The IMMA was founded by Naseef, who remained active in it for decades, overlapping for several years with Abedin. Naseef was also secretary general of the Muslim World League in Saudi Arabia, perhaps the most significant Muslim Brotherhood organization in the world. In that connection, he founded the Rabita Trust, which is formally designated as a foreign terrorist organization under American law due to its support of al-Qaeda…” [source, Andrew C. McCarthy, Huma Abedin’s Brotherhood Ties Are Not Just A Family Affair , PJMedia]

The implications of the former Secretary of State using a home computer system to conduct official State Department business are extraordinarily serious. Given the very real possibility that the system had been hacked and that, irrespective of that issue, tens of thousands of emails have already been “deleted,” establishing anything of a record regarding Clinton’s official communications will prove difficult.

There already appears to be proof that some of Clinton's email communication was obtained as a result of a hack by a Romanian who goes by the handle, Guccifer.

According to a very detailed analysis conducted by the UK Daily Mail, "...Clinton never had an official 'state.gov' email address. Her aides reached her at 'hdr22@clintonemail.com' for the four years she was America's top diplomat.
The first hint of a secret Clinton email address came from the infamous Romanian hacker who used the nom-de-hack 'Guccifer.' He was later sentenced to four years in prison for his illegal exploits. Marcel Lazar Lehel – Guccifer's real name – breached the email account of Sidney Blumenthal, a former Bill Clinton aide who later joined Mrs. Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. Blumenthal had sent emails to her at the 'clintonemails.com' address..."

If these documents are so easily available, what else in the Clinton domain server network has been grabbed, perhaps by the Russians or maybe the ChiComs or N. Koreans? The implications for national security here are huge. It seems quite possible that Clinton's Mickey Mouse network could have easily proved to be a portal for hackers working their way upstream.

So, according to the former Secty of State, she was, is and will remain the sole arbiter of what does or does not get forwarded to the various committees and individuals engaged in the Benghazi review.

Mrs. Clinton, to put it gently, is not known for being a truthful individual, a record she has earned over more than 20 years of scheming, skullduggery, obfuscation and fabrication.

As a result this matter cannot end here.

Trey Gowdy [R-TX], his staff and fellow Special Select Committee members must gain possession of Clinton’s computer system. Her claim that she can’t comply because “personal” emails were mixed with official State Dept communication is absurd. That happened by design and there is more than a bit of claiming orphan status to obtain leniency after killing your parents here to again demonstrate the lunacy of the explanation which has so far been advanced by the Clintons.

This doesn’t begin to pass the smell test and this time the MSM seems inclined to come to the same conclusion.
