December 18, 2014 – San Francisco, CA – PipeLineNews.org – Since the founding of Islam, expressions and symbols of dominion and power have been a major component of its ideological psy-ops, a re-branding operation as newly conquered land gets folded into Dar al-Islam, the house of Islam.
Historically this has often taken the form of building mosques over the rubble of former churches and synagogues.

This is territoriality, the marking of the enemy’s sacred sites and though some might find the comparison offensive, this is exactly what male animals do in the wild, urinating to mark territory. It’s just in this case that Muslims have sacralized the process.
In a similar manner the Muslim Public Affairs Council [MPAC, about which we have written extensively, for example, William Mayer, MPAC’s “Safe Spaces,” Islamist Iron Fist In A Taqiyya Glove ] is employing the same technique though in a more sophisticated, far-reaching and deceptive manner.
Recently MPAC held a “policy forum” in DC the focus of which was “messaging” as it relates to public perception of Islam and/or Muslims in America. A key presentation at the event was led by a hard left PR firm, Hattaway Communications, which produced a multi-page report listing techniques designed to skirt the issues central to how Americans view it’s ever-combative, always pissed-off Muslim minority.
From the preface:
“This manual is a content guide for advocates, media watchdogs, religious organizations and others who seek to improve perceptions of American Muslims and counter anti-Muslim sentiment in the media and public discourse. The language in this manual can be used as a reference or template to help you when writing for, or speaking to, a wide range of audiences.”
Essential to Hattaway’s strategy is conflating Islamic and Western belief systems and general world views as being entirely compatible – and in some cases identical - when such a claim is risible. The techniques employed, including “message” matrices are standard PR methods, the type outlined in Frank Luntz’ “Words that Work” where focus groups are used to create believable talking-point catch phrases designed to create positive images and defuse those which are negative.
That this is mere manipulation is beside the point, the object is to convince not illuminate. In one sense this type of effort can be seen as the Westernization of taqiyya, strategic, religiously condoned misinformation. In a deeper and darker sense it’s a realization of the Muslim Brotherhood’s long term goal of destroying the West from within using the rights and privileges which are guaranteed in free societies.
Inherent in this process is an entirely made-up back-story, that since at least 9/11 many Muslim Americans have become victims of intolerance, that they are suffering bigotry [broadly, Islamophobia1.] as a result of their religious affiliation.
Given that Islam appears to be the modern terrorist’s religion of choice, one might think that turning the world upside-down, reversing victim and aggressor, would be a non-starter from the get-go, and no we are not arguing that all Muslims American’s seek to eventually create a Shari’a compliant United States.
But enough do and the lack of outrage by “patriotic” Muslims over the issue of Islamic triumphalism, engenders doubts in numbers which no poll will ever reveal as to the general veracity of the initial claim and the trustworthiness of its carrier.
Despite the lack of veracity of the Islamophobia gambit, after being re-worked, massaged and manipulated by the media, the entertainment industry, academics etc., a false but powerful narrative emerges: that Muslims are oppressed in America and that the West is at war with Islam.
But it doesn’t stop with the establishment of a straw-man, the definition of Islamophobia is then positioned to grow exponentially to include criticism of the religion or clarifying the term "terrorism" with the often required descriptor, "Muslim."
The clear intention here is to create an atmosphere, already well in play in Europe, where any criticism of the religion, its adherents or whatever tangential issues can be raised becomes illegal. Taken to its inevitable conclusion the foregoing process makes defense against the predation of a messianic culture of theocratic domination impossible.
MPAC of course understands, as do all Islamist organizations, the potential of transforming the West through non-violent means - the stealth jihad. Which is why it‘s using the same methods as do commercial advertisers and political campaigns.
But even the clever among us can reveal their true intent in unguarded moments. We point to an article written about the MPAC event by author Shahrukh Arif American, Muslim or Muslim American? and published on the Muslim Village website. We find it striking that the lead image depicts a Muslim woman wearing an American flag as hijab as it crystallizes much of the foregoing text.
The meaning of the picture is clear. It’s an in your face political statement that Islam is destined to dominate the United States. The imaging of Muslim women wearing the stars and stripes as hijab is offensive:
1. It presents a clearly threatening Islamist message, “one day we will own you.”
2. It also relegates the flag, which is a sacred symbol to most Americans, to the status of a tawdry political prop. This in and of itself is bad enough, but in this case it says far more about questionable claims of patriotism coming from some in the Muslim American community than they might realize.
When all of the niceties and adopted Western motifs are stripped away, normative Islam's message to America is threatening, "We are not here to coexist, we come to conquer."
1. Islamophobia is essentially non-existent in the United States. Below from the latest  FBI Uniform Crime Report regarding crimes committed as a result of bias against a religion.
"Of the 1,223 victims of anti-religious hate crimes:13.7% of 1,223 is 167, the total number of anti-Muslim hate crimes committed in the United States. The population of the United States is upwards of 316M, you do the math, we rest our case.
60.3 percent were victims of crimes motivated by their offenders’ anti-Jewish bias.
13.7 percent were victims of anti-Islamic (Muslim) bias.
6.1 percent were victims of anti-Catholic bias.
4.3 percent were victims of bias against groups of individuals of varying religions (anti-multiple religions, group).
3.8 percent were victims of anti-Protestant bias.
0.6 percent were victims of anti-Atheist/Agnostic bias.
11.2 percent were victims of bias against other religions (anti-other religion). (Based on Table 1.)"
