July 22, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Geert Wilders recently wrote an op-ed in the NRC Handelsblad entitled, "Muslims free yourself and you can do anything." In it he reiterated that he had nothing against Muslims but that belief in the Qur'an and having Mohammed as a role model prevented Muslims from being free and as a result develop their societies. Wilders wrote that, "Without Islam Arabs, Iranians, Indians and Indonesians have an enormous potential" and criticized the religion for making Muslims "fatalistic." Wilders also announced that he is forming a new organization the Geert Wilders International Freedom Alliance (IFA). He plans to give speeches in the United States, Canada, Britain, France and Germany to garner support for the movement which aims to stop immigration from Islamic countries and ban Shari'a.
He described his movement as somewhere between traditional conservative and extreme right, which will publicize the dangers Islam poses to the Western world.
