Will ICNA be Allowed to Practice Stealth Jihad at Philadelphia Free Library Festival?

April 15, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - The Islamic Circle of North America [ICNA] has announced that it will have a “Dawah Booth" at the Philadelphia Free Library Festival scheduled to take place on April 17th and 18th.

This is troubling news, considering that ICNA is an major American Islamist organization with reported ties to at least one of the most extreme jihadist groups in the world. According to, "Yehudit Barsky, a terrorism expert at the American Jewish Committee...ICNA "is composed of members of Jamaat e-Islami, a Pakistani Islamic radical organization similar to the Muslim Brotherhood that helped to establish the Taliban." ICNA aggressively seeks converts via its "Why Islam" da'wah [Muslim conversion] project as part of the stealth jihad.

The ICNA website plainly states the groups intention to promote Shari'a in the U.S.

"About ICNA - Islamic Circle of North America is a leading grass roots organization which seeks to obtain the pleasure of Allah (SWT) through working for the establishment of Islam in all spheres of life. ICNA has many projects, programs, and activities which are designed to help in the process of molding the individual and reforming society at large. Goal The goal of ICNA shall be to seek the pleasure of Allah (SWT) through the struggle of Iqamat-ud-Deen (establishment of the Islamic system of life) as spelled out in the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)." With this kind of record, the Islamic Circle of North America has no place at the Philadelphia Free Library Festival and the organizers should prevent representatives of the group from plying their trade at the event.
