October 23, 2008 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - As predicted in an October 10 piece, Somalis Continue Efforts To Enforce Shari'a, Aided By Phony Civil Rights Group [see, https://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=somaliid=9.17.08.htm] the fraudulent civil rights group CAIR [Council on American Islamic Relations, an unindicted co-conspirator in the ongoing U.S. vs Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding prosecution] is stepping up its fomenting of labor unrest against meat packer JBS Swift & Co, first at the company?s Greeley, Colorado plant and now at the company?s Grand Island, Nebraska facility.
CAIR is legendary for its campaign of legal intimidation using allegations of Islamophobia to bludgeon employers into Shari?a compliance.
In a follow up to the October 10 story, on October 12 we reported CAIR?s official entry into the matter:
"Local media sources in Greeley, Colorado are reporting that a group of Somali Muslim immigrants, fired by local meat packer JBS Swift, have retained counsel and are meeting with the Council on American Islamic Relations' [a co-conspirator in the nation's largest terror funding prosecution] thug lawyers in an attempt to prolong and intensify the controversy over the factious issue of forced recognition of Islamic law in the workplace." [see, Greeley, Colorado Muslim Immigrants Retain Counsel, Consult With CAIR Thugs ,https://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=somaliid=10.12.08.htm
Somali immigrants, brought to the United States as political refugees have a history of causing labor difficulties.
In numerous examples [all of which these authors have written about, see Ingrate Somali Muslim Workers On Rampage - Again - This Time At Colorado Meat Packer, JBS Swift, Creeping Shari'a Turned Back - Tyson Reinstates Labor Day, Shari'a Comes To Shelbyville Tennessee, Are Minneapolis Taxi Fares Going To Support Al-Qaeda?, Muslim Taxi Drivers At Minneapolis International Airport Subjecting Fares To Sharia] after finding work, these Somali refugees have demanded from their employers the "right" to conduct elaborate Muslim prayer rituals [and other elements of Shari'a] regardless of the cost to their employers or the harm such activity might have in a production environment. In many cases what seem to be good will efforts by these employers to address their Muslim worker's concerns have seemingly fallen on deaf ears." Regarding the controversy at the JBS Swift plant in Grand Island, Nebraska, local television station KHASTV [referring to CAIR, after misidentifying it as the "American-Islamic Relations," as merely an advocacy group, a tremendous disservice to the station's viewers] reports that CAIR will file approximately 20 discrimination lawsuits claiming that Muslim workers were not being given enough time off to pray the requisite 5 times a day as demanded by Shari'a. This is a common CAIR tactic and one in which, unfortunately, Somali immigrant workers have been altogether too eager to join.
