Illinois Law Enforcement Should Be Commended For "Mosque Storming" Exercise

May 6, 2008 - San Francisco, CA - - The Council on American Islamic Relations [CAIR, the Saudi funded Hamas mouthpiece and unindicted co-conspirator in the nation's largest terror prosecution] has predictably taken exception to a realistic security exercise in which officers from the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System [ILEAS] stormed the Continuing Recovery Center in Irving which had been transformed into the "Irving Mosque" for purposes of the event.

The security drill was based on a not at all unreasonable scenario in which a heavily armed terrorist group takes over a mosque and then holds hostages. The exercise took place on the evening of April 24 and involved nearly 30 different local law enforcement agencies.

While CAIR objected to the event, with Ahmed Rehab, the organization's Chicago executive director stating, "The use of a fake 'mosque' in this type of drill sends the wrong message to law enforcement officials who may now view mainstream institutions, such as Islamic houses of worship, as potential security threats," the exercise was realistic and the scenario all too believable given the prevalence of Islamic terrorism.

Claiming that the drill "Sends the wrong message," is a tragi-comical statement for anyone connected with CAIR - which has steadfastly refused to specifically and by name condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization - to make [see, CAIR Refuses To Condemn Hamas While Attempting To Censor Michael Savage] as is having Islamist Ahmed Rehab, acting as its spokesperson in this matter.

Rehab looks kindly on the Iranian supported Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah and supported Muhammed Salah, a Bridgeview, Illinois Hamas operative who was incarcerated in Israel for 5 years for his admitted crimes in support of the group.
