Obama Rep Rashid Hussain Keynotes at Islamist Conference

June 9, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - The Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago recently held its annual dinner event. In attendance was Rashad Hussain - United States Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference and Deputy Associate Council to President Obama - who delivered the keynote address.
Hussain was introduced by Safaa Zazour the secretary general of the Islamic Society of North America. ISNA was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the United States' most extensive prosecution of terror funding, U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation, which proved the phony Islamic charity Holy Land, gave at least $12 million dollars to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
Before going to ISNA, Zazour served as the chairman of the Council on American Islamic Relations [CAIR] Chicago and also sat on the organizations board [source, CAIR Chicago website, http://www.cairchicago.org/our-board/safaa-zarzour/#]
CAIR also was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation. At the trial all the defendants, including the founder of the Texas chapter of CAIR - Ghassan Elashi - were found guilty on a total of 108 charges.
