Kyl Charges - Obama Won't Secure Border Without Amnesty for Illegals
June 21, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNew.org - Raising the stakes in the administration's efforts to quash Arizona's immigration law, Senator John Kyl [R-AZ] charged in a recent town hall meeting that in a private conversation with the president, Mr. Obama indicated he was holding securing of the border hostage to his larger desire to grant amnesty to America's estimated 12-15 million illegal Mexican aliens.
The WH has denied that Obama suggested such a trade-off.
