Chicago Taxi Driver - Raja Lahrasib Khan - Indicted on Federal Terrorism Charges
April 2, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Fox News is reporting an AP story [see, http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/04/01/chicago-cab-driver-indicted-terror-charges/] that a Chicago taxi driver - Raja Lahrasib Khan - has been indicted on terror charges.
Khan, a Pakistani-American, is alleged to have transferred funds to a radical Pakistani leader whom he believed had ties to al-Qaeda.
A similar criminal complaint had been filed against Khan last week and the defendant's counsel had apparently made the decision to challenge it in court. Today's action by the government precludes that possibility.
