Attempted NY Subway Bomber Zarin Ahmedzay Pleads Guilty
April 23, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Zarin Ahmedzay today pleaded guilty in a 2009 plot to bomb New York subway trains.
According to federal prosecutors Ahmedzay, an American citizen, entered into a conspiracy with Najibullah Zazi and another accomplice to attack the transit systems two busiest stations, Times Square and Grand Central Station.
Much of the evidence used against Ahmedzay was obtained from Zazi, who is awaiting sentencing early this summer. Zazi was apprehended in Colorado last September in Colorado.
